How to Beat the Hardest Levels in Bubble Candy Arena

The first twenty levels of Bubble Candy Arena teach you the basics. After that the game slowly asks more of you, and from around level 40 every move matters. Here is what changes — and how to stay ahead.

What makes later levels hard

  • Bigger goals and fewer moves from level 21 on
  • A sixth sweet colour and holes in the board from level 41 — fewer matches appear by chance
  • Double-layer glass from level 61 — each square needs two matches
  • By the 80s you rarely have a move to spare

Read the goal, then plan

Every level shows its goal before you start: a score, a number of one sweet to collect, or glass to break. Keep that goal in mind for every swap. A big combo that does not touch the glass is worth less than a small match right on top of it.

Build special sweets on purpose

With six colours, special sweets rarely appear by luck. Before each move, scan the board for a four-in-a-row (Rocket), an L or T of five (Firecracker) or five in a line (Rainbow Bubble). Spending one move to set up a special sweet usually saves two or three later.

Combos worth saving

  • Rocket + Rocket clears a full row and a full column at once
  • Rocket + Firecracker clears three rows and three columns
  • Firecracker + Firecracker blows up a 5×5 square
  • Rainbow Bubble + any sweet removes every sweet of that colour — perfect for collect goals
  • Rainbow Bubble + a special sweet turns every sweet of that colour into that special sweet first
  • Rainbow Bubble + Rainbow Bubble clears the whole board

Work from the bottom

Matches near the bottom make everything above fall, and falling sweets often form new matches — free chains you did not pay a move for. Matches at the top only refill the top.

Glass levels

On glass levels, count the squares left and aim every special sweet at the glass. Rockets are best for a line of glass; Firecrackers for a block. Double glass needs two hits, so finish one patch before moving on rather than cracking everything once.

Losing a level uses one of your five lives, and one comes back every thirty minutes. If a level beats you three times, take a break — a fresh board and a fresh mind often finish it on the next try.
