Is it free?
Yes, completely. No download and no sign-up.
Do I need an account?
No. Type a nickname and you can play. Your browser remembers the name for next time.
Can I play on my phone?
Yes, it was made for phones first. It works in Chrome, Safari and other up-to-date browsers on Android, iPhone, tablets and computers. You can also add it to your home screen so it opens like an app.
How do I play with my friends?
Tap Create private room, pick your settings and share the link or the room code. Anyone who opens the link joins your room. You start the game once everyone's in.
How many people can play?
A private room can have 2 to 20 players. Public rooms hold up to 10, and a public game starts when the room is full.
How do points work?
You get more points the faster you guess, and a bit less for every player who guessed before you. The drawer gets points for each person who guesses the word.
How do hints work?
You can always see how many letters the word has. As time runs out, some letters show up. The room owner can set fewer or more hints, or turn them off.
Can I use my own words?
Yes. When you make a private room, type your words separated by commas or one per line. You can even play with only your words.
Is there Hindi?
Yes. Pick हिन्दी as the word language. You can type answers in Hindi or in English letters, for example "kitab" for किताब.
Can I like a drawing?
Yes. While someone's drawing, tap 👍 or 👎 in the corner of the canvas.
What if my internet goes off?
The game reconnects on its own. If you're back within about 30 seconds, you keep your place and your points.
How do I report someone?
Tap their name and choose Report. To report a drawing, open the ⋯ menu while it's on screen. We look at every report.
Is it OK for kids?
Chat is filtered and players can be muted, removed and reported. But public games are open to anyone, so younger kids are better off in a private room with people they know.
What do you know about me?
Very little. Just the nickname and avatar you pick, and a random ID saved in your browser so you can reconnect. We don't ask for your name, email or phone number. More in the privacy policy.
