Your First Night in Scribble Craft Arena: A Simple Plan That Works
You wake up in a village with empty hands and about ten minutes of daylight. Here is exactly what to do, in order, so the night does not catch you unprepared.
Every new world starts the same way: you stand on a gravel path in the middle of a village, the sun is up, and you own nothing. A full day lasts twenty minutes by default — ten of daylight and ten of night — which sounds like plenty until you spend five of them admiring the houses.
This is the order I play my first day in. It is not the only way, but it gets you tools, food, light and a safe bed before the first Ghoul shows up.

1. Wood first, always
Walk to the edge of the village and find a tree. Hold mine on the trunk (left click, or keep your finger on it on a phone) until the log pops out. Collect four or five logs — leave the leaves, they only drop when you break them on purpose.
Do not cut the village houses. They are made of planks and logs too, but the villagers live there and you will want their trades later.

2. Planks, sticks and a crafting table
Open your bag. A single log in the small 2×2 grid becomes four planks. Two planks, one above the other, become four sticks. Four planks in a square make a crafting table — place it and right-click it to get the big 3×3 grid.
Now make a wooden pickaxe: three planks across the top row, two sticks down the middle. If a recipe shows a red border in the recipe list, you are still missing something; tap it and the grid fills itself when you have enough.

3. Stone tools before lunch
Dig down a few blocks or find a hillside — grey stone is never far. Mining stone without a pickaxe is painfully slow, which is exactly why you made the wooden one.
With a stack of stone you can upgrade to a stone pickaxe, axe and sword using the same shapes. The axe cuts wood much faster, and the sword matters tonight.
4. Food you can actually eat
Hunger drops while you run and mine. The quickest food is already waiting: every village has chests with bread, apples and carrots. Open them, take what you need, and leave a little for later.
Animals give more. A boar drops pork, a chicken drops raw chicken and feathers. Raw meat is weak, but cooked on a campfire it fills you up far more — cooked pork restores 8 points against 3 for raw. Every village has a campfire near the middle: hold the raw meat and right-click it.
What fills you up the most
- Cooked pork — 8
- Cooked chicken — 6
- Bread — 5
- Cooked fish — 5
- Apple — 4
- Carrot — 3

5. Light and a bed before sunset
When the sky turns orange, stop exploring. Make torches — a piece of coal on top of a stick gives four — and put them on the walls around you. On a wall they lean out the way you expect; on the floor they stand straight.
Then find a bed. Every village house has one. Right-click it at night and you sleep straight through to morning, and the bed becomes your spawn point. No bed nearby? Three wool over three planks makes one.
If the night catches you anyway
Three creatures come out in the dark. The Ghoul walks straight at you and hits — a stone sword handles it, and it burns away at sunrise. The Boomer creeps close and hisses before it explodes; when you hear the hiss, back off. The Thornling throws thorns from a distance, so either rush it or put a wall between you.
The easy answer to all three is a door. Go inside, close it behind you, and wait for the morning.
Wood, table, pickaxe, stone, food, torches, bed. Seven things — and the first night is easy.
